Wafi Energy Pakistan Posts Rs3.54bn Profit in 2025, Expands Retail Network

KARACHI: Wafi Energy Pakistan Ltd (WEPL) has reported a profit after tax of Rs3.54 billion for the year 2025, reflecting a 7.5 percent year-on-year increase and underscoring the company’s steady growth trajectory in Pakistan’s competitive energy market.

During the year, the company expanded its footprint by adding 35 new retail sites, including its second eco-friendly Shell-branded outlet constructed using recycled plastic materials. This expansion brings WEPL’s nationwide retail network to more than 680 sites, strengthening its presence across key markets.

Chief Executive Officer Zubair Shaikh stated that following a strong 2025 performance, the company is focused on accelerating growth in 2026, enhancing shareholder value, and continuing strategic investments to support Pakistan’s evolving energy landscape.

As part of its broader investment strategy, WEPL is also planning to establish a Dubai-based subsidiary aimed at expanding its commercial activities and reinforcing its regional presence. The move is expected to open new avenues for growth and strengthen cross-border business operations in the coming years.
